Better late than never....here is the new track from Torkelsen entitled "Christmas". It's basically his remix of the Judy Garland version of "Have yourself a Merry Little Christmas"....and it's GREAT!
Beatsofreen (Netherlands) and Medaforacle (United States) present their EP ‘Global Soul’! The 19-year old producer Beatsofreen released his well-received beattape Future Memories (which you can find HERE) last year, and Medaforacle did the supporting program for Pharoahe Monch.
After collaborating on a number of separate tracks, they dedided to create an EP together.
In their own words...
“The theme to Global Soul is beyond the soulful samples and sounds of the production. It is a message to the world that our most prize possession is our souls. Everything we do in life effects our souls, being good or bad. Everything we do from music to sports to painting to loving should be with our souls because when its all said and done, that's the only thing that remains.”
Here is a sampler for the new release from Kitsune, Parisien 2 (out February 13th!).
In their own words...
"Covering the many bases of electropop, indie-dance and everything between, Kitsuné Parisien II selected by Kitsuné’s founder Gildas Loaëc and designed by graffiti artist André offers a lively snapshot of what is cooking up for 2012 in Paris and further afield!"
Sounds like 2012 will be another great year for Kitsune!!

Be on the lookout their new releases Unified Theory Part 1/2/3 - Released 9th Jan/6th Feb/5th March (Lektroluv Records) .
Here is more on the project...in their own words...
"Every trilogy starts with the beginning, so what better way to start off than to introduce you to the first God of creation, Brahma. Brahma has four faces and four arms, is born in the lotus flower and is creator of this material universe. Also, at one point, Brahma meditated for 290 million years. Exactly how long it tookMumbai Scienceto make this first part. Part 1 consists of two tracks. With 'Researchers', Mumbai Science experiments with chopped up vocals and 80s strings, combining them with their trademark sound (WATCHBoys Noize playing 'Researchers' @ I Love Techno). The second track, 'Commandments', is slower and strikes with its obscure, lingering bassline. Perfect for the darker corners of the club! Jonas explains,“With this trilogy, I feel like we experimented with genres like New Beat, Future Techno, Acid and Electro... In a way, I think we tried to contemporize everything we liked from our youth... We just made something we think is quite cool”.
Judging from what I have heard, I would agree that they have made something that is very cool indeed!!
